In Moodle, you will upload the URL for the Web-page you create following the directions below.

On your W: drive, you should already have a folder for this class which is called   it111  . By saving all your web-pages for this class in that folder, your URL's will always be of the form: http://students.juniata.edu/your-user-name/it111/your-file-name.htm . Remember that when you save an .htm file, the name should not have any spaces, and it should have the .htm file extension. Always upload the full URL, not simply the file-name.

Create a web site for a business that you make up (have fun and be creative, but please keep it clean!).

You may work either alone or with a partner.

Here are the minimum requirements:

• Include your name (and your partner's name if working in a team) somewhere on the main page of the site
• The site should be made up of at least 2 pages
• Include a form of some type with at least one button that will display an alert window when clicked
• Include at least one image and at least one hyperlink somewhere on the site

Please use this time to experiment with the web and feel free to learn from others in the class. This does not mean copying each others HTML, but feel free to ask questions and help each other with problems and ideas. You may use any resources that you need, particularly, HTML and JavaScript guides are helpful and available online.

You may do this assignment using just notepad or you may use Dreamweaver or MS Frontpage or any other web development software you would like. Some of you are new to this and some are not. Please push yourself to learn something new about coding and developing web sites, and have fun doing it. Be creative. Please come see me if you are having trouble, I'll be happy to help.

This will be due by Thursday, Dec 03. To submit this assignment, all you need to do is include your valid, full, URL and the name of your partner in the comments box in Moodle for this assignment. Only one member of your group needs to submit.
