Culture Class and Gender

This course examines the role of Gender Development, especially women in developement, women and development, and gender and development frameworks in an Indian context.Patricipants in this course get the opportunity to explore the role of gender in development. There are many opportunities for interactions with people involved in gender development and the chance to understand first-hand the diffifulties of overcoming preconceived gender roles.

 

Anu Pai takes a leadership role in teaching this course. She is the Managing Director and Head of Learning for FERAL (Foundation for Environmental Research Advocacy and Learning).
