While majoring in Studio Art and Art History as an undergrad at the University of Richmond, Dr. Rosell created an extensive collection of personal artwork. Here are samples of her favorite works of original art.

Very first painting- a still life with surreal drapery
Work based on the technique of a master artist (Mondrian)
Woodblock print of two cats having fun in the leaves
An oil painting inspired by Georgia O’Keeffe

Copying a masterpiece
(Monet)

Trying to paint like Monet was much more difficult than I ever imagined!

Artwork inspired by the University of Richmond’s collection of shells and minerals
It won first place in the University’s contest, and now hangs as part of their permanent collection.
A surreal variation on the theme of shells
A slow sketch primarily drawn without looking at the paper
A charcoal study done in class
Another oil painting inspired
in part by the close-up
flowers of Georgia O’Keeffe
A silkscreen print,
continuing the shell motif
