Dr. Douglas Stiffler joined the History Department and the International Studies Program at Juniata College as professor of Asian History in the fall of 2002. He loves being a member of these programs, where he enjoys spending time with his fellow professors, in both academic and social settings. Along with the faculty, the students impress Dr. Stiffler with their commitment and intelligence. During his time at Juniata, he has come to appreciate the college’s sense of community. He calls the college, "a good liberal arts school getting better all the time."
