Research

My research is generally based in the area of several complex variables with some focus on analytic geometry.  In particular, my research concerns a number of questions related to boundaries of holomorphic chains and some of the resulting connections to other areas such as partial differential equations and linear dependence.

PhD Thesis:

Concerning Characterizations of Boundaries of Holomorphic 1-Chains within Complex Surfaces, University of Michigan 2003 (pdf) (dvi) (ps)

Papers and Preprints:

  • Walker R., Boundaries of holomorphic 1-chains within holomorphic line bundles over $\mathbb{CP}^1$, submitted (pdf)
  • Walker R., Extended shockwave decomposability related to boundaries of holomorphic 1-chains within $\mathbb{CP}^2$, submitted (pdf)
  • Walker R., Characterizations of boundaries of holomorphic 1-chains within $\hat{\mathbb{C} \times \hat{\mathbb{C}}$ and $\mathbb{C} \times \hat{\mathbb{C}}$, submitted (pdf)
